Driving digital transformation for one of India's largest tyre manufacturers β a comprehensive mobile platform for consumers, dealers, and service partners across India and Europe
Apollo Tyres is a leading Indian multinational tyre manufacturer, incorporated in 1972 and headquartered in Gurugram, India. Operating manufacturing plants across India, the Netherlands, and Hungary β and selling Apollo and Vredestein branded tyres in over 100 countries β the digital platform was built to serve consumers, authorized dealers, and field service partners through dedicated mobile experiences.
The project encompasses a full digital ecosystem for Apollo Tyres β covering tyre discovery and product comparison for consumers, order placement and warranty management for Authorized Business Partners (via Apollo Sampark Cloud), a rewards and training program for tyre fitters (Apollo Saarthi), and healthcare access for truck drivers (Swasth Saarthi App). The platform spans India's massive commercial and passenger vehicle tyre market, with integrations for dealer operations, supply chain, and loyalty programs.
Built using Flutter for a cross-platform iOS and Android experience, with a backend powered by React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Python. OpenAI drives intelligent product recommendations, tyre fitment guidance, and dealer-facing analytics. MongoDB handles all user, order, warranty, reward point, and fitment data across thousands of dealers and service partners. The design system was defined in Figma and covers the full product suite β consumer-facing discovery, B2B dealer portals, and partner loyalty interfaces.
The Story
Apollo Tyres, founded in 1972, has grown into one of the world's top tyre manufacturers with plants in India, the Netherlands, and Hungary β selling Apollo and Vredestein branded tyres across 100+ countries. With 87% of revenues from India, the company serves a vast network of consumers, truck fleets, passenger car owners, authorized business partners, and independent tyre fitters. As Apollo Tyres embarked on a digital transformation journey, the challenge was to unify this diverse ecosystem β consumers discovering and buying tyres, dealers managing orders and warranty claims, fitters tracking loyalty rewards, and truck drivers accessing healthcare β into a cohesive, modern mobile platform. The result is a suite of Flutter-based apps that bring Apollo's entire digital touchpoint strategy to life.
Our Approach
The project was designed Figma-first β with a comprehensive design system covering consumer UI, dealer B2B flows, partner program interfaces, and brand-consistent visual language across Apollo's global identity. Development followed a Flutter cross-platform architecture delivering consistent iOS and Android experiences from a single codebase. The backend, built on Node.js and Python, powers product catalogues, dealer order management, warranty registration, fitment data collection, and loyalty reward processing. OpenAI integrates across the consumer-facing app for intelligent tyre recommendations based on vehicle type, usage, and geography, as well as dealer analytics and supply chain insights. MongoDB's flexible document model handles the wide variety of data β from consumer profiles and vehicle data to dealer account information, fitter reward points, and warranty claims β all at the scale of Apollo's nationwide dealer and partner network.
