Built as a Flutter-based cross-platform mobile app for iOS and Android, with a backend powered by React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Python. OpenAI drives intelligent property recommendations, portfolio analysis, and investor onboarding assistance. MongoDB handles all user, investment, property token, and rental income distribution data. The architecture supports real-time portfolio dashboards, tokenized property ownership records, automated monthly rent distribution, and KYC/identity verification — all at scale for 225K+ registered investors.

Equito strips all of that away by tokenizing properties and allowing anyone to buy fractional ownership from just €100. Based in Barcelona, the platform focuses on exclusive Spanish real estate, handling all due diligence, legal structuring, and property management on behalf of investors. Users simply choose properties they believe in, invest what they can afford, and receive monthly rental income directly in the app — making real estate as simple as a stock trade. Today, Equito has 225,000+ registered investors and plans to invest €30M+ in over 122 homes.
Our Approach
The mobile app is built in Flutter for a seamless, consistent experience across iOS and Android. The backend runs on Node.js and Python microservices handling property tokenization, investment processing, KYC/identity verification, monthly rental income distribution, and portfolio analytics. React.js and Next.js power the web platform and investor dashboard. OpenAI provides intelligent property recommendations based on each investor's portfolio, risk tolerance, and preferences — as well as onboarding assistance and automated investor Q&A. MongoDB serves as the primary data store for all user accounts, property tokens, investment records, and rental distribution history. The architecture is designed to scale to thousands of concurrent property listings and hundreds of thousands of investors across multiple markets.
